Nicolia and Mike’s Engagement Session, Oakland CA

I’ve been looking forward to taking Mike and Nicolia’s engagement pictures from the moment I met them. They are authentic people, so full of life, love, and happiness together and I hope these images share just a little piece of the love they have for each other. I find it perfect that we shot just down the road from their house at Lake Merritt, before we headed over to the Oakland Rose Garden and ended up right where they will be getting married later this year in the gorgeous gardens of Piedmont Community Hall.

alison and subodh’s winery wedding, livermore ca

Here’s part two of Alison and Subodh’s epic two day event. I love shooting events in wine country, especially if the groomsmen are wearing Star Wars cuff links. After day one Subodh and Alison had plenty of reason to be tired (see first image below), but they were full of life and Subodh looked like a Hugo Boss model in his suit and Raymond Weil. Alison was stunning in her gorgeous dress, and was constantly surrounded by the oohs and ahhs of her lovely bridesmaids. From the candle-light ceremony to raucous Hindi dancing everything was perfect at the lovely Palm Event Center. Thanks to the two of you and your wonderful friends and families for having me along for the party.

Alison and Subodh’s South Asian Wedding, Cupertino CA

Alison and Subodh held a two day extravaganza spanning the Bay Area, and celebrating with both a classic wine country traditional western wedding and a beautiful Indian wedding. The contrast in colors, setting and details is tied together through the love of their families and the emotions of both days. Here’s part one, held at the lovely Quinlan Community Center. Here’s a little part of the story of day one…

Reggie & Lea’s Santa Cruz Mountains Wedding, Mt. Hermon CA

From the Santa Cruz Mountains, Reggie and Leah’s fun and beautiful wedding amidst the Redwoods of the Santa Cruz mountains at Mount Hermon. They shared that their vision for the wedding day would be that all their friends and families would experience love. I think they did too.
